Safety Northwest Event Information

April 25-27, 2025 at the Wasco County Fairgrounds

Safety Northwest is a weekend educational retreat focused on safety & emergency response for volunteer run events.

While the focus of the training is for the safety volunteers participating at SOAK, we welcome volunteers from any festival in the Pacific Northwest and western Canada. Participants will meet as a large group for common topics, like ICS and Radio Usage. Facilitated course tracks include Emergency Management, Fire Conclave Safety, Fire Safety, Gate & Perimeter, Regional Ranger Training, and Sanctuary & Harm Reduction.

This event is an opportunity for safety volunteers to gather, become acquainted, and train in a facilitated setting.
